My Experience as a Hasbara High School Intern

My Experience as a Hasbara High School Intern

By Jenna Orvitz

The Hasbara High School Program is something that I would recommend to any student in high school. Not only did I learn great ways to advocate and stand up for Israel but I also learned real life skills. For example, one part of the program was to run a pro-Israel social media campaign, something I had never done before. I chose to do my social media campaign on Israeli inventions and I learned a lot through researching this topic and learned how to research, plan out, and run a social media campaign. The program also gave me the opportunity to meet new people in the pro-Israel community, to listen to amazing speakers, taught me things I didn’t know about Israel, and gave me access to resources and materials. In conclusion, my experience in this program will be one that I won’t forget and I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in becoming an advocate for Israel.
