Taking it Back to Campus

Taking it Back to Campus

After ten days of learning Israel’s rich history, learning skills to strengthen campus advocacy skills, and engaging directly with Israeli leaders and officials, our December 2025 Student Leadership mission to Israel has drawn to a close.

On our last full day, we hosted a final summit where the students met with speakers and participated in workshops to reflect on everything they learned throughout the mission. Our main focus on this last day is how to bring everything they learned and experienced back to their college campuses in meaningful, effective ways.

Throughout the mission, students explored regions deeply impacted by the war with Hamas and Iran, alongside ancient sites that remind us of our ancestral connection to this land. Experiencing both the challenges of the present and the depth of our history firsthand is what equips our student leaders with the clarity, credibility, and confidence they need to confront antisemitism and misinformation back home.

Our Fellows also had the unique opportunity to meet with the President of the State of Israel, who acknowledged the alarming rise of antisemitism on college campuses and emphasized the importance of empowering young leaders to address it.

The fellows turned to one of the most critical arenas they will face back home: digital spaces. As social media continues to fuel the spread of misinformation, learning how to confront and counter online hate has become a necessary component of effective campus advocacy. Various speakers, including Gil Hoffman, Sarah Pogue, and Judith Hahn, guided the students on different ways to combat antisemitism online effectively.

Now, as 2026 begins, our students will return to their college campuses prepared: not just with the facts, but with the ability to stand up and speak out. They understand what is at stake, and they are ready to stand up to anti-Israel rhetoric, even when it is unpopular.
