Dorit Gerov is in her internship (4th) year, completing a business degree with embedded certificates in Leadership studies and Mental Health studies. She was a student on the 2021 Hasbara Fellowships Summer program. She has a fiery passion for inspiring and educating Jewish and non-Jewish students on antisemitism, Zionism, and the beauty that is Judaism and Israel. She is currently the SSI President at the University of Calgary (UofC) leading her board after its founding last year. She has Israel-advocacy experience with recruitment, social media, presentations, and writing op-Ed’s through both Hillel, SSI, and other initiatives. Dorit is excited to help grow the Hasbara Presence on the West Coast of Canada and is hoping to inspire students the way she has been inspired.
