Alan Levine

Prior to serving at our Executive Director, Alan was the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Hasbara Fellowships, responsible for engaging communities beyond campus and developing lay leadership in order to advance Hasbara Fellowship’s mission on campuses. Alan spent four years with Hasbara Fellowships as a Regional Adviser and then Managing Director upon completing his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he was a Hasbara Fellow and president of the pro-Israel student group. Subsequently, Alan received his masters degree in Middle Eastern Studies at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where he studied Arabic and specialized in the history of Syrian sectarian violence and the history of the US-Israel relationship. He later spent two years as an associate area director in AIPAC’s Los Angeles office, but rejoined the Hasbara Fellowships team in February 2017.
