Rabbi Elliot Mathias is the Founder of Hasbara Fellowships. Elliot founded Hasbara Fellowships in 2001 while studying in Jerusalem at Aish HaTorah. Elliot has led Hasbara’s growth into becoming one of the premier campus Israel advocacy organizations, having trained thousands of students to stand up for Israel on campus. Elliot is also a Board member of the Jewish Federation of Greater Metrowest NJ and is the Chair of the Community Relations Committee of the Jewish Federation. Elliot graduated from Northwestern University in 1997 with a degree in Communications and received his Rabbinical ordination from Yeshiva Aish HaTorah in Jerusalem in 2007.
